Experiment Overview
Compare shear strength of different adhesive materials at various temperatures & various altitudes during different stages of flight.

Experiment Description
Students will discover which adhesive will survive a sounding rocket launch. Adhesives will include: super glue, duct tape, elmer's glue, and gum. Students will test the strength of adhesive bonds under extreme pressures. Four 1oz. weights will be used and secured to a board with duct tape, super glue, Elmer's glue and gum. Each experiment will be seperated into compartments made of plexiglass material. Students will also collect data on altitude, temperature, and pressure.
